The White City Youth Theatre (WCYT) Based at the Bush Theatre, Shepherds Bush, the WCYT provides a highly valued, free drama service open to young people aged 9-24 years living in the local community. They run weekly workshops for two age groups, plus a holiday programme offering exciting opportunities and performance projects throughout the year including the prestigious National Theatre’s Connections Festival. This unique creative outlet helps members to realise their potential through high quality performing arts programmes delivered by inspirational coaches. The safe environment and family atmosphere at the organisation offers vital support and the opportunity to make new friends, learn new skills and broaden horizons, providing a space where these young people can feel supported and heard. Regular theatre visits and links to other arts provisions provide our members with enriching experiences, nurturing their enthusiasm for the arts and the cultural opportunities that are available in their city.
