Launch of Ready, Steady, CONNECT Learning Report
The Ready, Steady, CONNECT project has been running for two years in Hammersmith and Fulham. Ready, Steady, CONNECT (RSC) has worked with local young people aged 16-21 to provide access to mentoring and personal development workshops. We have also worked with YHFF member organisations to build their capacity to deliver mentoring, running a Mentoring Network and offering one-to-one support.
RSC has been a partnership project. With leadership provided by the Young Hammersmith and Fulham Consortium (SYNC), delivery has been led by Spark (mentoring), 2-3 Degrees (personal development), the Young Hammersmith and Fulham Foundation and the Kids Network (capacity building).
As current funding for RSC comes to an end, we wanted to take time to reflect on the successes, challenges and learnings from this two-year mentoring project. This learning report reflects the joys and the uphill struggles we have all experienced as we have worked together to support local young people. We have sought to amplify the voices of young people throughout this report. We hope you enjoy reading it!
