The activity runs from 1 February 2021 to 1 February 2022. The Young Hammersmith and Fulham Fundation does not manage bookings for this activity and is not responsible for the delivery of the project. If you have any questions, please contact the organisation directly.

Each beneficiary will receive a block of six therapy sessions which can be extended if necessary.

What

Someone To Talk To will provide children and young people with free psychotherapy session in schools. In primary schools this will be in person and in high schools through a desktop. There will also be an awareness campaign #LittleTruths, which will run in schools and online to promote healthy attitudes towards mental health and de-stigmatise asking for help. Children and young people can sign-up for care through drop-boxes in schools and parents/teachers can refer beneficiaries. Through this project Little Lives UK aims to help children build strong mental foundations and coping strategies to last a lifetime. This is particularly important as 75% of lifelong mental health disorders begin before the age of 18. Thus, Someone To Talk To can improve the health and happiness of children and young people in the immediate setting and across beneficiaries' lifetime. If you have a schools or youth organisation that you think would benefit from this service please get in contact with us.
