What

Dissecting the dirt Archaeology and project management skills course for ages 16-25. We’re inviting young people aged 16 – 25 to join us for a brand new series of workshops which will give them skills for the future. This course is perfect for students with a keen interest in archaeology, history, geography and geology, and those looking to develop professional transferable skills. Students will learn both project management and people management skills, as well as skills used in the field by archaeologists Sessions Supported by our community archaeologist, Alexis, students will begin sessions assisting with our Young Archaeologists Club and later will plan and facilitate sessions for them. In the afternoon, they will get in-depth archaeological training, inspiring their love of history. Although the titles sound technical, they will be delivered in an accessible way, with plenty of interactive elements to support learning. These full day sessions will be fun and active opportunities to gain valuable skills for the future. Term dates Each month has a different theme and students will learn different skills.
