The Uncommon Collective

The Uncommon Collective is a youth development platform that works with under represented young people to help them thrive in both school and professional work environments. The Collective is a group of mostly black and brown diverse talent that works with students predominately 11-18 to deliver employability, personal coaching and wellbeing workshops.

Everything we do is set against our four pillars:

• Representation matters - We aim to drive better representation of under represented communities by working directly with coaches and staff from these communities and positively engaging with all students. We wholeheartedly support the phrase "if you see it you can be it is" and aim to inspire by providing positive role models.
• Authenticity is key - We deliver personal coaching and well-being sessions that help young people understand their brand and how it is perceived by society. We aim to teach them to understand their identities and how it can bring value to any situation.
• Youth development is key - We recognise that early intervention is key to inspiring and and supporting the next generation of workforce.
• Positive narrative - Our mission is to help diverse young talent thrive and we do this by creating positive stories around their identity's and helping them express this in an impactful way.
