About Organisation

The Sulgrave Club was founded in 1926 and has been delivering successful services and activities for children and young people in Hammersmith & Fulham for over 80 years. Our aim is to help young people develop their physical, mental, and social skills through the constructive use of their leisure time. We do this by providing children and young people with a comfortable and safe place to meet; a skilled, enthusiastic, and caring team of staff to work with; a wide range of stimulating activities, opportunities, and experiences; the space to freely express their views and opinions; and the opportunity to take an active part in the running of the Club. All this is provided in an atmosphere of respect and trust based on a good working relationship between youth workers, volunteers, children and young people, and their parents and carers. We currently provide a one-night a week Junior Youth Club for children in School Years 3 to 6; a one-night a week Inters Youth Club for children in School Years 6 to 8; a two-night a week Senior Youth Club for young people in School Years 7 and above; five weeks of Junior holiday activity schemes during the Easter and Summer holidays; three weeks of Senior holiday activity schemes during the Summer holidays; a full Junior After-School programme, including a Taekwondo Club; a Performing Arts Club; and Extra Maths & English Classes; and annual residentials to accredited outdoor activity centres in East Sussex and the New Forest.
