Global Action for Autism

Global action for autism is a “not for profit” charitable organisation providing services for young autistic people by identifying their dreams, passions, and aspirations. Our role is to improve the lives of the young people who often feel isolated and overlooked by society. We offer skill-based workshops such as hairdressing, cake decorating, art, pottery, card making, soap making, jewellery making and more. We also offer activity clubs and a range of therapies including salsa classes for movement and co-ordination, sailing and horse riding. For parents and carers, we offer group counselling sessions among several other workshops.

We run day, residential and overseas trips throughout the year helping to reduce the isolation related to having a child with autism. These trips are essential for the mental and emotional wellbeing of the both the young people and their families.

Our aim is for the inclusion of autistic people and to continue raising awareness in the community by changing the mindset and the misrepresentation of those living with autism.
