About Organisation

Funpact is a family-focused charity supporting parents and children together.

Funpact understands the challenges young people face growing up in society today, and how daunting it can be for parents and carers to guide them towards independence. We weenable families to explore challenges together in a fun and interactive environment, creating a solid foundation for further discussion at home.

Funpact's courses include:

Transition to Secondary

This course comprises 2 workshops – 1 in primary and 1 in the secondary school for year 6’s with support for both parent/carer and child ensuring they BOTH feel ready for this new chapter, topics covered include: reading a timetable, new friendships, independent travel, mobile phone ownership and handling homework.

Bridging The Gap
This course comprises 6 sessions – for year 7-9 pupils WITH their parent/carer focusing on the important aspects of growing up and becoming more independent such as: emotions and the teenage brain, building good friendships, social media and citizenship and financial literacy.

Ambition 2 Success
This fun and interactive 6 session course is for pupils in secondary school years 7-11 and their parent/carer. Pupils are chosen by the school to attend to support them to reach their full potential at school. The course focuses on supporting the pupil to create a positive trajectory for themselves whilst also supporting their parent/carer. Topic include: setting ambitions, decision making and how to overcome obstacles along the way to achieving in life.
